Check if you have plenty of free space on your phone. If your phone's disk space is full and you are trying to import or record in the app, it will be unable to do so. To check how much memory you have left go to GENERAL >>ABOUT. Here you will see your CAPACITY and the AVAILABLE memory. You do need 1gb free space on your phone to use the app.
Another thing to try is restarting the phone. Some phones require a hard restart after changing privacy settings for them to actually take effect in the apps.
