Follow these steps to get your photos & videos out of iPhoto: 

  1. Click on the video file in iPhoto
  2. In the menu bar, clip on FILE >>EXPORT
  3. A window pops up. Click on "FILE EXPORT"
  4. In the "KIND" field, click on "ORIGINAL"
  5. Click "EXPORT".
  6. It will ask you where you want to save your file. Click "OK."
